CLIENT:
Plank Road Associates, LLC
LOCATION:
Halfmoon, New York

This was the second building to be constructed on the same site, with high visibility from the Northway, the main north-south traffic corridor through northeastern New York.

The two buildings are relatively close to each other, so Keystone Architectural Services recommended that the building's brick and reflective glass veneer match that of the first building. Thus, this medical office building echoes the professional office building in form, with a similar cube of reflective glass defining the entryway and providing a vertical counterpoint to the horizontal massing of the form. The elegance of the façade again offers tenants a professional image which reinforces their professional competence.

The design of medical office space requires highly developed understanding of the functions and needs of tenants. Keystone's skills in designing interior space to meet the stringent requirements for ADA, efficiency, and designated use of medical office space, resulted in a building which provides tenants with the most functional space, and provides the owner with flexibility in layout for multiple tenants.

At two stories and 25,000 square feet, this building is 20,000 square feet smaller than the first. Because it shares the same steel-framed, light gauge metal stud construction, and other interior and exterior elements are similar, Keystone Architectural Services was able to provide savings to the owner on the architectural design.
