This 45,000-square-foot, three-story office building is constructed on a site with poor soils, and is set into the side of a hill. It is of steel-framed construction with light-gauge steel studs, and a brick and reflective glass exterior. The original architect designed a complex window treatment, pocketing the windows a distance of 2 feet in from the exterior edge of the building, which made the walls 2 feet thick.

The owner and general contractor considered the design too expensive to be economically feasible in the Capital District office space market. Thus, Keystone Architectural Services was hired on a Design/Build basis by the general contractor to retain the visual appearance of the façade, but redesign and simplify exterior wall construction.

Keystone Architectural was able to mediate effectively between the needs of the owner and the contractor during the construction process, resulting in a project which allowed tenants to move in on time.
