BlueShield loves blue glazing; that's where the design for this contemporary building started. Highly visible from the Adirondack Northway, this unique structure gives this "Class- A" tenant the "Class-A look" that their corporation demands.

With construction starting in October, this four-story, 80,000-square-foot structure was built throughout the winter and complete for an August occupancy, right on time. Built into the side of a hill, the grading around the building allows for on- grade entrances to the front and rear of the structure. This worked out ideally for daily building deliveries to the lower level and for the owner's desire to have a private outdoor patio directly outside of a 125 person cafeteria.
Once again on this project, Keystone's skills in designing high-tech interior space to meet extensive fit-up requirements, resulted in a building which provides the owner and tenants with the most functional and enjoyable space.

As with many of the developers for whom Keystone Architectural Services provides architectural design, Keystone has teamed with First Columbia on a number of projects. Because of this longstanding relationship, Keystone is thoroughly familiar with First Columbia's preferred construction methods. Consequently, the design and construction documents for this project were assembled quickly and efficiently, allowing First Columbia to meet the tenants' strict time schedules.
